About The Role: The role of the Frame Assembler is a key role within company, where the primary responsibility is manufacturing the product frame prior to it being upholstered.
The role involves constructing a variety of frames, as per quality standard specification using wood and tools.
To assist other members of the department when necessary.
Hours of work: Monday to Friday 05.30am to 13.45pm.
Pay rate: £14.04 per hour plus performance bonus and comprehensive benefits £1000 Retention bonus after 12 months, T&Cs apply Roles and Responsibilities: · Attain the necessary production target at the acceptable level of quality.
· Check on components/materials to ensure they meet specification.
If defects are found, report to the supervisor with relevant information.
· Manufacture units or parts to specification using tools supplied.
· To ensure that all specification requirements are met without defects · To be flexible when operating within the production process If required, assist in training employees with unfamiliar work · Ensure product is compliant with companies policy and procedures.
· Work as an effective and efficient team.
About you: · Previous exposure to a role in joinery or carpentry is essential · Previous experience in manufacturing would be desirable · Be able to demonstrate good use of hand and power tools, including \’Air pressure\’ tools.
· Near Vision The ability to see details at close range (within a few feet of the observer).
· Self-motivated, enthusiastic and realistic · Static Strength The ability to exert maximum muscle force to lift, push, pull, or carry objects.
· Competent in joinery/carpentry · Quick thinking, organised and methodical paying attention to detail.
· Able to multitask and work under pressure.
