My Client is a mechanical engineering firm that has been in operation for over 50 years, providing mechanical engineering solutions to their diverse portfolio of clients.
They are now seeking a senior Air Conditioning/Refrigeration Engineer to work on a mobile basis primarily across Surrey, with occasional coverage in London when required.
THE ROLE:
Mobile position across the Surrey area primarily, but travel across home counties and London will be required at times.
Mobile RAC Engineer (Predominantly AC) covering Splits/Multi Splits/VRV/VRF, etc.
Minimum Requirements:
- Must have a minimum of 10 years\’ experience.
- FGAS Cat 1 qualification preferable to City and Guilds.
- Full clean driving license essential.
- Must be able to clear an enhanced DBS and security clearance checks.
- IPAF and PASMA preferable.
THE PACKAGE:
- £40/45K Basic.
- 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
- Working hours from 08:00 to 16:30 (30-minute lunch).
- Travel in excess of 30 minutes at the start and end of the day and outside of core hours will be paid.
- Call Out Rota 1 in 7 paid at x1.5 door to door with a £200 per week standby fee.
- SSP and SHP (28 days in total including bank holidays).
- Overtime available.
- Van and fuel card provided.
- Uniform provided.
- Tablet and phone (and full training) provided.
- All RAC equipment provided (including scales, gauges, vac pumps, hoses, pressure washers, and PPE).
- Engineer provides own hand tools.
- Auto enrolment pension.
