/ ABOUT THIS ROLE

Momentum will be working on an amazing global event series for one of our key clients. Working in close harmony with our SAD, you will be at the centre of the action. You are the day-to-day contact for the client and the internal teams, ensuring the smooth running of campaigns. You will make sure they are on time, to budget and that you bring clarity to the creative delivery. You will set the tempo of the business and be able to think strategically and creatively. You will be looking to add value at all stages. You’ll be representing the agency on the world stage and helping us build our growing reputation.

/ WHAT YOU\’LL DO

  • You will be the lynchpin between agency and client – conveying the right information to the agency so they can do the best work.
  • Protecting the creative product using reason, relationship and intelligence.
  • Make sure that you are protecting the agency through diligence, smart thinking, clear communication and instinct.
  • Establish effective relationships across agency multi-disciplinary teams e.g. Client Services, Events, Insight & Strategy, Creative, Technology, Talent, Finance.
  • Ensure compliance with agency and client policies across projects.
  • Manage up effectively to line manager and wider project team, tailoring the appropriate level of information to ensure effective prioritisation of issues and resolution.
  • Ensure adoption of account management best practice and processes to wider project and account team, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
  • Working in partnership with strategy, creative & technology counterparts, to build thorough understanding of clients business on a micro and macro level to inform the “why” as well as the “what” we do.
  • Build effective relationships at a senior client level that support in both a collaborative agency/client dynamic and yield opportunity for growth.

/ WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

  • Ability to build and maintain strong working relationships with clients, rights holders, suppliers and agency colleagues.
  • Comfortable managing multiple work-streams with clients and colleagues at peer levels.
  • Experience delivering conferences and events.
  • Strong understanding of the role of sponsorship and activation in the broader marketing mix.
  • Proven track record in managing flawless activation programmes from early planning through to execution.
  • A team player – ability to work closely with the account team and the wider Momentum Strategy, Creative, Production and staffing teams.
  • A proactive individual who anticipates the next move, rather than waits for it.
  • Ability to tailor communications and style to different stakeholders and personality types.
  • A process champion – someone that understands the value of Momentum’s processes and that appreciates that they are paramount to the delivery of world-class experiences.
  • An ability to juggle a number of projects and tasks simultaneously and consistently deliver high quality work to tight deadlines and when under pressure.
  • High level of knowledge in the business of sport is preferred.
  • Strong organisation and time management skills, with excellent attention to detail.
  • Solid written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong IT skills including Excel & PowerPoint.
