My client is a growing business which has just had investment and is looking to achieve double digit growth in the next 12 months. They are looking for a dynamic and ambitious Commercial Finance Manager to join their team and help guide the company’s financial strategy as they scale.
The Commercial Finance Manager will oversee the financial operations of the company, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial reporting and controls. This role will be pivotal in driving financial performance, providing strategic financial insights, and maintaining compliance with regulations. The Commercial Finance Manager will work closely with the CFO to support decision-making and long-term financial planning.
A newly created role, reporting to the CFO, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day financial operations of the business, monthly management accounts, budgeting and forecasting, VAT returns and the year-end audit. You will collaborate with the CFO on strategic planning and financial growth and identify opportunities to streamline financial processes to improve efficiency and implement improvements in existing financial systems and controls.
The successful candidate will be CIMA/ACCA/ACA newly qualified or nearing the end of their qualification with a strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and management accounting. You will have strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial data to non-financial stakeholders.
This is a business with significant growth potential, you will have the opportunity to develop professionally in a dynamic and supportive environment working closely with a high calibre CFO. This role will progress to a Financial Controller position as the business expands.
