Role Responsibilities
- Assist with the development of the finance team, delivering outstanding financial control, compliance, planning and reporting.
- Deliver financial information and analysis to the Board and management colleagues enabling the business to achieve its strategic and operational objectives.
- Assist with delivering an outstanding level of statutory and regulatory financial reporting.
- Assist with annual business planning and budgeting cycle with strong commercial vision.
- Develop a positive partnership approach with external auditors, customers, suppliers and advisors.
Person Specification
We are looking for a qualified accountant (ACA, CIMA, ACCA or equivalent) with significant experience in leading and developing a finance function in a high volume, deadline driven environment. You will already be an experienced Finance Manager looking for your next exciting career step/challenge training to be a Financial Controller. Your core expertise will be in the operational leadership of a modern finance department where robust financial systems and controls deliver enhanced commercial value. Success in this role will also depend upon your ability to build effective relationships across the Group. It follows your style will be “hands on”, engaging and collaborative and you will possess the credibility and presence that wins hearts and minds and influences positive commercial outcomes.
