Job Description

We are looking for an individual to join a company based in a village location just outside Bicester as a Stock Control Manager. Within this position you will be ensuring day to day operations are running efficiently, completing administration tasks, leading a team and managing inventory.

Working hours will consist of 08:30-17:00 Monday to Thursday and 07:30-15:30 on Fridays.

Duties of the Stock Control Manager:

  • Maintain accurate and up to date stock records.
  • Complete daily and weekly audits investigations and reconciliations.
  • Oversee deliveries, ensuring all stock is correctly booked in.
  • Monitor the movement of stock and implement new measures to maintain efficiency.
  • Coordinate with other departments to schedule restocks.
  • Annual stock takes.
  • Supervise warehouse staff, promoting productivity.
  • Assign and oversee tasks given to operatives.
  • Liaise with senior management regarding reports on stock control and any operational concerns.
  • Conduct performance evaluations.
  • Take part in budgeting and cost-control measures.
  • Analyse stock trends, and inventory data to make recommendations on cost saving.

Personal Attributes:

  • Have problem solving skills and excellent attention to detail.
  • Computer literate and able to use Microsoft Office packages including Excel.
  • Build lasting relationships.
  • Experience working within a stock/warehouse environment and stock control.
  • Leadership experience in a warehouse environment.
  • Organised and dedicated to the role.
  • Numeracy skills.

A Forklift licence would be advantageous for this position but is not required. You must hold a driver’s licence and access to your own transport due to the location of the role.

Offering £30,000-£35,000 per annum depending on your experience. This company also offers, onsite parking.
