Join a leading telecommunications provider as a Project Manager !
About the role
We are seeking a self-starter and resilient Project Manager to support up to four projects, initially focusing on two key initiatives: Web Blocker Project & TSA Network Projects. This role requires someone with a strong background in telecoms and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Shifts: Monday – Friday (37.5 hours per week)
The must haves:
- Must have experience in telecoms.
- Familiarity with network infrastructure rather than software development.
- Comfortable dealing with network engineers and technical teams, and willing to ask questions and educate themselves.
- Proficiency in Jira and Confluence or similar tools.
- Self-starter, resilient, hands-on, and comfortable with ambiguity.
- Good team player and able to handle manual processes.
Key responsibilities
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, including initiating new projects and delivering ongoing ones.
- Work under pressure and handle senior stakeholder interactions, pushing back on timelines when necessary.
- Collaborate with a friendly and helpful team, stepping in to cover for team members as needed.
- Utilise Jira and Confluence, moving towards an Agile methodology and providing coaching where necessary.
- Engage with third-party delivery partners, including external companies like Nokia.
- Ensure compliance with the Telecom Security Act by deploying necessary technologies.
- Deliver a smaller project by June and manage additional projects over time.

- A day rate, in-scope IR35, £450 per day (via a Hays approved umbrella company)
- This role provides remote working access from the comforts of your own home and only requires going to our state-of-the-art office in London up to four times per week. Travel to Reading will be required as part of this position.
