Groundworks Plots / Road and Sewers Site Manager
Location: North East
Duties:
- Supervising day-to-day works.
- Organising and ordering materials through the purchasing department to ensure works run fluidly and on program.
- Completing quality checks on all works completed and documenting them in line with company procedures and the site manual.
- Ensuring H&S on site is of a good standard and that risk assessments/method statements are followed.
- Monitoring and checking plant and equipment.
- Liaising with the client site managers.
- Ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in line with company standards.
- Recording day-to-day activities.
Must Haves: SMSTS, First Aid.
Preferred but not essential: Streetworks, TWS, Lift Supervisor, SEATS or similar.
Not suited to someone who is just hands-on; there’s a lot of paperwork involved for site managers. The candidate needs to be able to use the computer, scale drawings on Bluebeam, find and print drawings as required for the team.
