Groundworks Plots / Road and Sewers Site Manager

Location: North East

Duties:

  1. Supervising day-to-day works.
  2. Organising and ordering materials through the purchasing department to ensure works run fluidly and on program.
  3. Completing quality checks on all works completed and documenting them in line with company procedures and the site manual.
  4. Ensuring H&S on site is of a good standard and that risk assessments/method statements are followed.
  5. Monitoring and checking plant and equipment.
  6. Liaising with the client site managers.
  7. Ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in line with company standards.
  8. Recording day-to-day activities.

Must Haves: SMSTS, First Aid.

Preferred but not essential: Streetworks, TWS, Lift Supervisor, SEATS or similar.

Not suited to someone who is just hands-on; there’s a lot of paperwork involved for site managers. The candidate needs to be able to use the computer, scale drawings on Bluebeam, find and print drawings as required for the team.
