At InterContinental London Park Lane, we are currently looking for a Food and Beverage Operations Manager to join the Breakfast / In Room Dining Team.
As our F&B Operations Manager, you will work across all the food and beverage areas with your main focus being on Breakfast service. You will be accountable for the day-to-day performance of your division, working alongside the team to deliver results by exceeding the guests’ expectations. Your working pattern will be 5 out of 7 days, including brunch on Sundays.
You will need to roster all team members to ensure the most effective and efficient use of resources to consistently deliver brand standards, making sure they have the tools they need. With your first-hand experience running dynamic buffet-style services, as well as experience in lunch/dinner, you will excel at engaging with guests and delivering Forbes 4* and above level service in a fast-paced environment. You will be able to recognize departmental challenges and solve multiple undefined problems, improving processes, systems, and product.
You will be expected to conduct performance reviews, regular check-ins, and be responsible for the engagement of the team for which you have accountability. Delivering in-the-moment coaching to the team as a whole, as well as regular individual training, is essential. You need to show awareness of market trends and be prepared to implement new initiatives, demonstrating collaboration with other departments. The ideal candidate will have full flexibility and be able to cover other areas of the F&B operation periodically when coverage is required.
