Danny Sullivan Group are searching for their next Site Manager based in Yorkshire, working on the AMP7/AMP8 project based in Yorkshire.
The ideal candidate for this role will work closely with the project manager, engineers, and surveyors to ensure projects are completed safely and meet or exceed customer expectations.
Responsibilities:
- Overall responsibility for the successful delivery of various projects in the Civils and Water sectors.
- Deliver work to the specified quality without defects.
- Lead a team of Sub Agents, Engineers, and Forepeople to deliver work safely and to the specified quality.
- Ensure production and implementation of Project Plans, RAMS, ITPs, and Waste Management Plans, in line with Company procedures.
- Ensure the commercial performance of the contract is maximized.
- Produce and manage the project construction programme and 2-week look-ahead schedules.
- Produce procurement schedules and liaise with the procurement department to ensure adequate resources are available to complete tasks.
- Represent the business to customers, the public, and official bodies.
- Deliver products to customer requirements and satisfaction.
- Manage the Barhale cost plan for the project.
- Maximize project value.
- Ensure detailed site diaries/records are completed.
- Maintain commercial tension to drive out costs and challenge the status quo.
- Identify and highlight value engineering opportunities.
- Produce accurate monthly reports for the Client and internally.
Experience/Qualifications:
- Experience in managing civil engineering projects.
- Water sector experience.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
- Proficient in project planning and cost control.
