Job Description
A newly created Procurement Officer opportunity is available on a hybrid basis working with this non-for-profit business based in East London/Essex. Following investment in the procurement function, this role will support the Head of Procurement and offers strong opportunities for growth and career development. This role will suit a procurement professional looking to harness their experience gained to date in a progressive, supportive working culture.Key areas of focus will include: running procurement tenders end to end; managing the Supplier Approval Process; helping the development of frameworks; communicating with suppliers and internal stakeholders; and manage the Contracts database.To succeed in this role, you will have demonstrable procurement experience of managing the tender process from start to finish; have the ability to build, influence and sustain service-led relationships with internal stakeholders; excellent communication skills; a high attention to detail and strong numeracy skills.
