To act as Senior Buyer / Contract Manager within the Procurement Shared Service on a 12 month fixed term contract, with responsibility for the Contract Management Process and platform, and also to assist the Procurement Managers in providing an efficient and effective Procurement Service across the Foundation Group.

The structure of the team is based upon category and project management principles to ensure delivery of controlled category spend via catalogues and to support high value complex procurement for all organisations in the group.
The Procurement Officer role within the Foundation Group Procurement Shared Service will take responsibility for the provision of catalogue management within the function. Alongside this, the role will also carry out secure and compliant procurement processes to obtain best value for money in the procurement of all goods and services in support of the achievement of the agreed procurement savings targets. The role will also provide supervisory leadership when required.
