Supply Star Recruitment are recruiting on behalf of a Primary School in Birmingham who require an Attendance Officer to join their admin team. Job Description: To promote and apply intervention strategies to ensure high levels of attendance and punctuality of pupils within the school. punctuality for targeted individuals. Maintain accurate manual and electronic records on behalf of the school. Monitor accurate pupil attendance and lateness records on a daily basis. * Investigating irregular attendance: Responding to irregular attendance as soon as possible * Working with children, families, and schools: Providing interventions to support children and their families * Collecting and recording data: Recording and monitoring attendance and punctuality data * Identifying chronic absenteeism: Reporting chronic absenteeism to the appropriate administrator * Improving attendance: Working with specific groups of students to improve attendance * Promoting the school’s vision: Working within the school’s policies and procedures * Maintaining confidentiality: Protecting the safety and security of personal information * Analyzing data: Identifying trends and relevant information from complex data The school are happy to consider applicants who have not done the role before but you must have worked within a school setting
