I am recruiting for skilled Service Engineers to assist customers in Central London. This role is also known as a Dishwasher Technician or Commercial Dishwashing Equipment Technician.
Duties:
You will install, service, repair, and troubleshoot commercial glass/dishwashing machines and related equipment in commercial kitchens, restaurants, and food service establishments, ensuring that dishwashing equipment is in full working order and functioning to a high standard.
It is essential that you live inside the M25 to ensure an easy commute to your London-based clients.
Key responsibilities include:
- Equipment Installation, Maintenance, and Repairs
- Documentation – Maintain detailed records of all service and repair activities, including parts used and labour hours; prepare service reports
- Customer Service
- Safety and Compliance
Skills & Qualifications:
- Any training in/formal technical training or certification in appliance repair or a related field is preferred
- Current or recent experience in installing, maintaining, and repairing commercial dishwashing or bottle washing equipment is essential
- Strong knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy equipment
- Full UK driver’s license
- Capable of using mobile technology such as tablets and smart appliances is essential due to the requirements of the customer portals and accessing technical information
