The Regatta is one of the most prestigious rowing events in the world, renowned for its history, tradition and spectacular setting. They are now seeking a highly organised, qualified Accountant (CIMA, ACA, ACCA) to lead their established Finance team.
The Role
Reporting to the Chief Executive, the Head of Finance is responsible for all aspects of financial management for the Regatta and its registered charity and plays a pivotal role in providing strategic financial guidance and leadership to support decision making.
Skills And Qualifications
The successful candidate will bring a wealth of experience in management accounting, financial reporting, budgeting & data analysis and exhibit a can-do attitude. They will manage the annual external audit process and report regularly to the Board on all financial matters.
To thrive in the role, this person will need to pro-actively collaborate with different stakeholder groups to quickly develop an in-depth knowledge of the business and understand the key drivers to the Regatta’s success. The ability to summarise data concisely and effectively, both in verbal and written communications is a prerequisite.
