Position Overview
The Acquisitions Department is looking for an Acquisition Data Analyst to strengthen our team. The ideal candidate will have responsibility for managing, aggregating, analysing, and presenting data for Mileway’s acquisitions team. This position reports directly to Mileway’s Head of Acquisitions and serves as their primary resource for a wide range of recurring and ad hoc analytical and research projects, including monitoring and analysing capital markets flows, supply and demand for new logistics real estate, and measurement of Mileway’s specific investment activities via Dealpath, supporting key initiatives across our pan-European portfolio and helping Mileway maintain its leadership position in last-mile logistics real estate.

What You’ll Do
- Manage and become the subject matter expert for various acquisitions, dispositions, financing, and development databases, including but not limited to active pipelines, 3rd party market statistics, near-term sources and uses, and underwriting data.
- Lead analyst analysis on transactional activity, pricing, and active buyers and sellers; complete and present regular analysis of national and market-based logistics real estate capital markets trends.
- Report to executive management and Blackstone on activity, and as applicable individual opportunities; and serve as point of contact for all Mileway departments requiring information on ongoing transactions from the acquisitions department.
- Complete ad hoc projects and presentations associated with the investment markets.
- Work closely with acquisitions, debt capital markets and other pre-acquisition teams to facilitate onboarding of new assets.
- Lead analysis on supply and demand for new assets across Europe, in particular markets where development initiatives are underway.
- Communicate results and conclusions of analysis (through Excel tables, PowerPoint charts, PowerBI dashboards) and brief write-ups.
- Lead the implementation of Dealpath, responsible for educating the transactions and wider Mileway team on how to use this; as well as using own expertise to identify and report Dealpath issues to their software development team.
- Be the lead contact on queries, training, expertise and any Dealpath questions and helping the company build familiarity with its capabilities.
- Collaborate with various stakeholder and externals to enhance our Dashboard reporting and commissioning of new Dealpath features.
- Lead the tracking and presentation of the deal pipeline, requiring knowledge of the deals to catch any gaps in the data and explain particulars of deals to relevant stakeholders.
- Create, maintain and improve dashboards using Dealpath and PowerBI, to identify trends for the transactions team and other departments.
What You’ll Bring
- Prior analytical role with 2-4 years of experience in commercial real estate or financial services (finance, FPA, etc.).
- Advanced Proficiency in analytical tools such as Excel, Power BI and Salesforce.
- Expertise with real estate deal tracking softwares, including Dealpath is critical.
- Ability to demonstrate effective verbal and presentation / communication skills. Must be capable of dealing with all levels of management.
- Knowledge of real estate fundamentals, preferably REITs.
- Keen eye for detail and the ability to manage multiple complex tasks.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize work within a dynamic, deadline-driven environment.
- Excellent written, oral and interpersonal communication skills.
- Fluency in English is required; additional European languages are a plus.
