Base pay range Job Title: Microsoft Purview Engineer Contract Duration: 6 Months Location: Remote with occasional site visits IR35: Outside IR35 The Role: We are seeking a Microsoft Purview Engineer to lead a Greenfield implementation project. You will design, deploy, and configure Microsoft Purview to enhance data governance, compliance, and security. Working closely with IT and security teams, you will establish a robust governance framework aligned with business and regulatory needs. Key Responsibilities: Lead the end-to-end implementation of Microsoft Purview, including Data Governance, Compliance, and Risk Management . Define architecture, integration, and security policies within the existing IT environment. Customize and configure Purview for data classification, retention policies, and access controls . Conduct testing, optimization, and compliance monitoring . Ensure alignment with regulations (GDPR, ISO 27001, NIST, etc.). Provide training and documentation for stakeholders. Key Skills & Requirements: Proven experience in Microsoft Purview implementation and administration. Strong knowledge of data governance, compliance, and security best practices . Experience integrating Purview with Microsoft 365, Azure, and security tools . Excellent problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills . Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Information Protection Administrator, CISSP) are desirable.
