This role is a specialist position, responsible for Purchasing activities across Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust, with specific responsibility for the Clinical Strategic Purchasing Team. MFT manages ten hospitals in the Greater Manchester area and aims to deliver a high-functioning, sustainable single hospital service by recruiting this crucial role. You will join the Finance and Procurement Business Unit, which encourages flexible working and offers modern facilities to enhance your working experience. This role currently involves a mix of home working and office attendance twice weekly, which is non-negotiable and may be revised to full-time office attendance. To succeed, you should have substantial strategic purchasing experience in a private or public sector organization, be committed to achieving full CIPS membership, and ideally have knowledge of clinical product procurement within the NHS. Excellent communication and partnership skills are essential for working with clinical stakeholders and procurement colleagues.
