This role reports to the Chief People Officer

Overview of the job

As the Talent Acquisition Lead you will own the strategy and day to day operational function of how we attract the best talent and deliver a first class candidate experience. Working closely with the wider People Team you will ensure the transition from attraction to retention is seamless.

Measures of success –
In the first few months, you would have:

  • Embedded yourself within the business, building strong relationships with key stakeholders and understanding hiring needs across departments.

  • Developed and implemented a structured hiring roadmap, ensuring alignment with business growth and talent needs.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Lead on the global TA strategy for the business: attraction strategy, internal mobility, systems and tools, onboarding and retention

  • Providing market insight on candidates and salary benchmarking, advising on hiring process, stakeholder inclusion and fair/consistent decision making

  • Ownership of our external facing channels; website, LinkedIn, Glassdoor – with a focus on our values, culture, DEIB proposition and benefits

  • Review incoming applications and proactive candidate outreach through LinkedIn and other channels

  • Detailed candidate screening, submission and process ownership; interview scheduling and feedback through to the delivery of the verbal and written job offer and management of negotiations

  • Full management of the ATS, implementation of new products and features and account management

  • Use of hiring data to drive decision making; time to hire, diversity metrics, areas of high volume across the business

  • Mentoring, coaching and development of two team members that support the TA function

What you will need:

  • Several years of recruiting experience, including time spent in a leadership role, preferably in a fast-paced environment

  • Demonstrated ability to design and execute recruitment strategies that align with business goals and improve overall hiring quality and efficiency

  • Experience mentoring recruiters or talent acquisition specialists, including setting goals, providing feedback, and driving performance

  • Strong knowledge of sourcing techniques, including social recruiting, talent mapping, and the use of AI-based recruiting tools to identify and engage passive candidates

  • The ability to analyse recruitment metrics and present insights to guide decision-making and improve key performance indicators such as time-to-hire, cost-per-hire, and offer acceptance rates

  • Experience developing and implementing initiatives that promote diversity, equity, and inclusion within hiring practices

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence and build relationships at the most senior level of an organisation
