About the Role:
Reporting to the Global Chief Marketing Officer, Direct to Consumer, the Group Senior Vice President will leverage WBD’s iconic content franchises – think HBO, DC, Discovery, Harry Potter, and legendary Warner Bros. Films – along with live sports and locally produced originals to build passionate fan communities and supercharge the Max brand across the EMEA region. This leader will oversee the strategic vision, execution, and performance of streaming marketing initiatives across EMEA. They will play an integral part in scaling Max and driving brand success through best-in-class regional marketing strategies while ensuring alignment with global objectives.
This leader will act as a key representative for the EMEA region, fostering collaboration between global, regional, and local stakeholders. They will optimize processes to meet the unique demands of diverse markets. The Group Senior Vice President will work closely with global leadership to ensure seamless alignment of the Max brand, product, and audience goals.
Key Responsibilities:

- Drive marketing transformation across EMEA, balancing the priorities of legacy business with the growth of Max as a leading direct-to-consumer streaming platform.
- Serve as a strategic advisor to global leaders, offering insights into market-specific needs, trends, and consumer behaviors across the region.
- Support global marketing leaders with clear, simplified decision-making and foster collaboration across teams to build a culture of trust, creativity, and results-oriented excellence.
- Oversee the integration of marketing insights, competitive analysis, and audience data to inform and optimize decision-making and campaign strategies.

- Invest in best-in-class expertise across social, creative, media & measurement, acquisition & retention, merchandising, content experience, research, partner management, and operations & marketing technology.

- Represent EMEA within global forums to advocate for the needs of regional audiences while aligning with overarching brand priorities.
- Establish benchmarks for success, oversee the development of KPIs, and provide consistent reporting to ensure transparency and alignment on performance.
- Act as a senior leader for the organization, championing a collaborative and innovative culture that supports growth and employee engagement.
Your Experience:
- Extensive experience in progressive leadership in streaming, marketing, and/or digital platforms, with a strong focus on growth and transformation in a global environment.
- Demonstrated expertise in regional marketing leadership for global organizations, with a proven track record of successfully launching and scaling subscription-based streaming platforms in complex markets.
- Deep understanding of the EMEA market, including cultural nuances, regulatory landscapes, and consumer behavior.
- Experience with emerging social media trends, content consumption, and digital transformation in the streaming industry.
- Exceptional leadership skills with experience managing and mentoring large, diverse, and cross-functional marketing teams.
- Strong financial acumen, including P&L management, budget optimization, and performance tracking.
- Expert understanding of the streaming industry, including trends, competitive landscape, and evolving consumer behaviors in EMEA.
- Ability to navigate and influence across complex organizational structures and geographies.
- Proven experience effectively working closely with senior executives and leaders.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Highly analytical with the ability to leverage data and insights to inform marketing strategies and measure campaign effectiveness.

Hybrid Working:
This role is advertised as a Hybrid work model that combines remote and in-office work, following our current company policy and to be agreed with your Line Manager. Subject to any applicable laws, WBD / your Line Manager reserves the right to change this working agreement where this is essential to business needs and upon reasonable notice to you.
