Senior Electrical Engineer | Data Centres | Global Engineering & Construction Firm | London, Hybrid
Our client is a global leader in engineering and infrastructure consulting , renowned for delivering high-performance data centres that power the digital world.
With an extensive portfolio of mission-critical projects , they provide expertise in electrical, mechanical, and structural engineering, shaping some of the most advanced, resilient, and energy-efficient facilities in the industry.
Their Data Centre MEP team, consisting of experts across various disciplines, is a close-knit and supportive community nurturing exceptional talent in the building services industry. They collaborate with internal and external consultants to design cutting-edge data centres for clients worldwide.
They are now looking for dynamic, flexible Senior Electrical Engineers, chartered or working towards chartership, to run small projects and take ownership of parts of larger projects under the guidance of experienced engineers.
As a Senior Electrical Engineer , you’ll play a key role in designing, developing, and optimising power and electrical distribution systems for data centres across the UK and Europe.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver electrical designs in collaboration with other disciplines.
- Manage and coordinate electrical delivery on projects.
- Provide technical input and manage workload to meet deadlines.
- Present technical solutions to clients and peers.
- Participate in developing technical proposals and attending design and site inspection meetings.

Minimum Requirements
- Postgraduate experience in building services design with a focus on data centres.
- Proficient in ETAP, Relux/Dialux, MS Project, AutoCAD, and Revit.
- Familiarity with relevant regulations, standards, and industry practices.
- Ability to approach projects with open-mindedness and forward-thinking.
- Full clean driving licence and passport, willing to travel as needed.
- Security clearance eligibility.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in electrical engineering or equivalent post-qualification experience.
- Member of a professional accreditation body (IET or CIBSE).
- CEng accredited or working towards it.
