We are currently seeking an experienced and dedicated Locum Practice Nurse to join a friendly and supportive GP practice team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled nurse looking to work in a dynamic primary care setting on a flexible locum basis. Key Responsibilities: * Providing routine nursing care to patients including wound care, immunisations, travel vaccines, cervical cytology (smears), and health screenings. * Chronic disease management (e.g. asthma, diabetes, hypertension). * Assisting in the management of long-term conditions in collaboration with GPs. * Maintaining accurate patient records using clinical systems (e.g., EMIS, SystmOne, or Vision). * Promoting health education and disease prevention. Requirements: * Registered Nurse with valid NMC PIN. * Previous experience working as a Practice Nurse in a GP surgery or primary care setting. * Competent in all standard treatment room duties and chronic disease management. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. * Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
