A superb opportunity has arisen for an accomplished Business Development Manager to join this highly prestigious and well established law firm based in stunning offices in the heart of the city.

This role is pivotal to generating new business opportunities and will involve working closely with the Marketing Team and senior stakeholders to develop client initiatives.

This particular role would suit a candidate with a proven record of successful business development, ideally within the legal sector or professional services.

Duties as follows:

  • Developing and leading a small team of three direct reports

  • Responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of firmwide BD plans

  • To effectively identify and facilitate cross-selling and client sharing opportunities across the firm.

  • Market research

  • To liaise with fee earners on business development activities and budget forecasts

  • To assist with specific bids and pitches

  • To have the ability to influence senior stakeholders and potential clients

  • Experience within the real estate or housing practice area would be desirable but is not essential

  • To produce accurate reports, particularly in relation to tracking and BD activity

  • Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail.

  • To manage the BD budget and tracking expenditure

This is a hybrid role offering a mix of office based and remote working.
