Nottingham Sea Cadets is a vibrant youth organisation dedicated to providing young people with the opportunity to develop essential life skills through nautical training and activities. Established as part of the national Sea Cadets movement, we aim to inspire and empower young individuals aged 10 to 18 years old.

Our core activities include:

  • Sailing and Boating: We offer various sailing courses that teach young cadets the fundamentals of seamanship and navigation.
  • Adventure Training: Cadets participate in outdoor activities such as hiking, camping, and team-building exercises that foster resilience and teamwork.
  • Community Engagement: We encourage our cadets to engage with the local community through volunteering and service projects.
  • Leadership Development: Our programmes are designed to cultivate leadership skills, confidence, and self-discipline among participants.

At Nottingham Sea Cadets, we believe in the potential of every young person. Our dedicated instructors and volunteers work tirelessly to create a supportive environment where cadets can thrive. We also promote values such as respect, integrity, and teamwork, which are integral to our mission.

Through our diverse range of activities, we aim to prepare young people for future challenges, both on and off the water. We are proud to be part of a national network that shares our vision of empowering youth through maritime experiences.

Join us at Nottingham Sea Cadets and embark on an exciting journey of personal growth and adventure!
