As L&D and OD Partner, you will lead and support key initiatives across Learning & Development, Organisational Development, and general People operations. This role focuses on employee development and engagement strategies.
- Partnering with managers to conduct training needs analysis, inform the organisation's learning and development strategy, and promote career progression and retention.
- Developing and delivering tailored learning solutions to address skill gaps and support employee growth.
- Supporting the People and OD Manager with the delivery of talent management and succession planning initiatives.
- Managing and overseeing induction programs for new hires, ensuring seamless onboarding experiences.
- Supporting the People and OD Manager in communicating People policy changes through engaging and innovative training programs.
- Driving employee engagement initiatives, including annual surveys, and developing strategies to address identified needs.
- Managing the learning and development budget in accordance with organisational governance arrangements.
- Line management of the People/OD Advisor, providing guidance and advice on general HR matters, development opportunities, and performance management.
- Supporting equality, diversity, and inclusion initiatives, including assisting managers with the completion of equality impact assessments.
- Monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of learning programmes and adjusting strategies to meet evolving organisational needs.
- Designing, reviewing, and implementing Estyn’s benefits package and recognition programs to attract and retain top talent.
- Attending relevant internal meetings including committees, boards, and groups, and deputising for the People and OD Manager where necessary.
- Undertaking any other duties as may be reasonably required.
Duration: Permanent
Salary: £35,787 - £43,758 per annum
Work hours and flexible working: Full-time hours are 37 hours over a five-day week (Monday to Friday), excluding breaks.
