Senior Security Consultant – Active DV clearance

My client currently requires a Contract Senior Security Consultant. The Security Consultant will be working within a public sector organisation; working as part of a large multi-workstream programme, this role will sit between consultancy and advisory.
The successful candidate must be business-facing and able to articulate/evangelise Security across wider IT teams.
- Day Rate: £700-£800pd
- IR35 Status: Inside
- Duration: 6 Months initially
- Hybrid
The Security Consultant will have the following experience:
- Active DV clearance – this is non-negotiable. Must be active and used within 6 months.
- Extensive and demonstrable experience working within public sector/government.
- Excellent stakeholder management – must be able to articulate Security principles to both technical and non-technical stakeholders and stand off to senior leaders across the organisation.
- Strong understanding of secure SDLC.
- Broad understanding of Security across SecOps, Cloud, Infrastructure, Networks, and Engineering.
- Documented reference architectures and security designs for new apps, infrastructure, and integrations.
- Security accreditations preferred such as CISM, CISSP, M.Inst.ISP, CGEIT, CISA.
