We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Solution Architect to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in the planning, development, and implementation of technology solutions, ensuring they align with client needs and business goals. This role serves as the bridge between clients and technical teams, overseeing the entire project lifecycle from pre-sales to post-launch support.
Key Responsibilities
New Business / Pre-Sales (15%)
- Collaborate with account manager, project manager, and development team on estimates and scopes of work.
- Align proposed technology solutions with business and IT requirements.
Project Delivery (65%)
- Meet with clients for status updates, live demos, collecting requirements and feedback, and answering questions.
- Provide technical leadership to the development, implementation, and testing of business solutions, integrating legacy and new technologies.
- Assist with the creation of functional documentation.
- Assist with the creation of technical documentation.
- Analyze the needs of large systems and break them down into smaller manageable parts.
- Plan and design the structure of technology systems in collaboration with the client.
- Create website launch plans on internal and client infrastructure.
- Assist in managing Cloud infrastructure.
- Assist in managing DNS and SMTP settings.
Post-Launch Support (20%)
- Assist internal and client teams with issues such as website availability, page errors, security concerns, certificate expiration, etc.
- Handle website support issues and emergencies during US business hours.
- Coordinate with the global development and support teams (night meetings or online chats roughly once per week).
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Proven years of broad technical experience in website development technologies.
- Deep technical expertise in at least one of the following: WordPress, HubSpot CMS, Drupal, Adobe Experience Manager, or Sitecore.
- Experience with marketing automation tools and advanced front-end web development.
- Proven background in solution architecture, software development, or technical project management.
- Strong understanding of web technologies, cloud infrastructure, and system integrations.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze complex technical challenges.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively liaise between technical teams and business stakeholders.
- Experience managing multiple projects and delivering solutions in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with DNS, SMTP, and cloud-based hosting solutions (AWS, Azure).
- Ability to learn new technologies and systems quickly.
- Ability to clearly communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Ability to translate vague and incomplete client directions into actionable development plans.
- Familiarity with website hosting requirements and options.
- Experience evaluating and implementing websites for security best practices.
- Knowledge of website consent management platforms such as OneTrust.
- Experience with agile methodologies and project management.
- Understanding of eCommerce platforms and integrations.
- Proficiency with website analytics and reporting tools such as Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and Adobe Analytics.
- Experience with data integration and API management.
- Familiarity with DevOps infrastructure and processes.
