Gamma is a leading supplier of Unified Communications as a Service (UCaaS): we provide voice, data and mobile products and services to the UK, German, Spanish and Benelux business markets.
Gamma is expanding its UCaaS presence in Europe with a family of businesses focusing on digital automation, delivering Gamma-powered services to SME customers via a network of channel partners in Germany, Spain, and the Benelux region.
Who are we looking for?
We are looking for a Chief IT Architect to have the responsibility, across all of Gamma, to create and agree a strategic architectural roadmap that accommodates industry trends, user needs and internal change ensuring that all development activities are then aligning to this strategy.
What will you be doing day-to-day?
- Work with CTO and IT Transformation Director to understand and define the IT strategy, roadmaps and ensure that they are communicated to delivery teams
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders from the business domain, development, engineering and external partners
- Ensure that we have the correct level of architectural governance to not slow down but enhance the delivery process
- Identify key risks and issues on work items and propose alternative solutions that follow best practice
- Enable the development teams by producing and overseeing solution designs, ensuring that they adopt best practices and are aligned to the Gamma IT Strategy
- Manage the team of IT architects providing coaching and mentoring to ensure personal and technical development.
What You’ll Need
- 5-10 years of development experience
- 5-10 years of architecture experience
- Experience leading a technology function with team management accountability
- SDLC process and best practice.
- TOGAF certification beneficial
- Knowledge of telecoms beneficial
