A nursery school in Boston are looking to appoint a new SEND support assistant in their 2-3 year old classroom. In this classroom, several pupils struggle with social interactions and their emotional regulation, often leading to outbursts of frustration. Your role will be to support the pupils on a 123 ratio, helping with daily tasks and development of their motor skills., Protocol Education is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. We undertake safeguarding checks on all workers in accordance with the DfE statutory guidance ‘Keeping Children Safe in Education’, this may also include an online search as part of our due diligence on shortlisted applicants.

We offer FREE online safeguarding and Prevent Duty training to all our workers. All candidates must undertake or have undertaken a valid enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check and subscribe to the DBS Update Service.

  • Passion for helping young pupils with additional needs, experience is beneficial!

  • Ability to work standard school hours of 8:30am to 3:30pm.

  • Right-to-work in the UK.

  • Driving licence with access to a car.

  • A clean enhanced DBS on the update service, or willing to apply for one.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
