Ninetwo is looking for an ambitious and talented Middleweight-Senior Designer to join our Glasgow studio. This is an exciting opportunity for a designer with a passion for branding, ready to take the next step in their career.

We’re looking for either:

  • An experienced middleweight designer eager to elevate their role, OR
  • A senior designer with a history of leading projects, managing teams, or a strong desire to step into a leadership role.

Brand-First Thinking

You live and breathe branding, with a deep understanding of how to take a brief from concept to completion across all digital and print touchpoints, including identity design.

Versatile Skillset

  • Strong generalist knowledge across print and digital design
  • Understanding of print and signage outputs , with the ability to liaise professionally with print partners
  • Knowledge of web and motion design is a plus, but coding is not required

Creative Leadership Potential

  • Experience leading or mentoring a team, or a strong desire to step into a leadership role
  • Ability to guide and shape the creative direction of projects, particularly in the absence of senior management

Strong Time Management

  • Comfortable working across multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Able to liaise proactively with clients, ensuring deadlines are met under pressure

Collaboration & Communication

  • A true team player who thrives in a collaborative environment
  • Confident in presenting ideas , taking feedback constructively, and building client relationships

Software Proficiency

  • Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and Figma
  • Experience in After Effects/video editing is an advantage

Willingness to Learn & Evolve

  • Staying up to date with industry trends, AI in design, and new technologies
  • Seeking opportunities for training, attending design talks, and expanding client interactions

Eye for Detail

  • A strong grasp of typography, layout, and presentation
  • A keen eye for the small details that elevate a design from good to great
