Job Description – Advisory Partner, Consumer Packaged Goods – Vice President – English (CPG057059)

Inviting applications for the role of Advisory Partner, Consumer Packaged Goods – Vice President – English.
Your responsibility in this role will be to engage and develop senior advisor relationships with our key clients in the consumer goods sector in Europe. You will act as a “tip of the spear” for your portfolio, identifying consulting and transformation opportunities which will drive Genpact’s Technology, Digital, Analytics and AI capabilities.
Your role will be to architect those transformation programs with clients, leveraging our industry-leading capabilities, practices, and methodologies in the consumer goods sector. You will be responsible for a portfolio of clients as part of our Industry Advisory Team.
Responsibilities
- Establish strong and lasting relationships with key & prospective CPG clients to understand their priorities and the state of their business; use that knowledge to provide strategic recommendations that enable the overall success of their business.
- Bring strong advisory experience to elevate points of view, offerings, and outcomes specific and relevant for clients.
- Drive relationship development and stakeholder management at CXO level across buying centers.
- Responsible for driving growth within a global portfolio of $10 – $35M through partnership with enterprise sales and mining of existing relationships; identify, close, and deliver consulting opportunities as well as larger transformation opportunities including managed services.
- Build vision for the portfolio and enable vision through strategic roadmaps including the creation and implementation of growth plans for key/strategic accounts.
- Keep teams and services apprised of relevant industry trends and opportunities that can add value to our clients and accelerate our growth.
- Constantly build and maintain subject matter expertise.
- Identify opportunities for expanding Genpact services to drive business value across client engagement.
- Build industry-relevant digital offerings that can be standardized, repeated, and scaled.
- Invest in the Genpact brand by developing and publishing relevant white papers.
- Provide consulting industry advisory for CPG clients with a strong ability to derive a transformation roadmap that outlines solutions that integrate process, data, technology, and AI to achieve the client’s goals.
- Translate recommended transformation vision into a set of requirements and delivery execution plans.
- Responsible for the full end-to-end lifecycle of the entire team including hiring, onboarding, assessing, and evaluating performance and exiting team members.
- Provide leadership to the team through coaching, mentoring, and development of staff.
- Consult with leadership and HR on sensitive and difficult employee situations and issues.
- Build meaningful relationships and community within the team.
- Ensure new staff are trained in an efficient and effective way.
Qualifications we seek in you!
Minimum Qualifications / Skills
- Bachelor\’s or Master\’s degree / MBA in one of the following disciplines: any STEM subject, supply chain, accounting, analytics, GenAI or data management.
- Relevant years of experience in a leadership position, driving the development and execution transformation for large organizations within major consulting organizations.
- Demonstrable expertise in the consumer goods sector, preferably in the European markets, including expertise in a key domain area (Supply Chain, Finance, Enterprise Risk Management, Technology including GenAI, or Centralization).
- Thorough understanding of technology, digital and analytics trends.
- Strong communication and presentation skills both written and verbal; ability to distill complex ideas into digestible and compelling narratives and frameworks.
- Ability to thrive in ambiguity and manage complexity.
- Ability to rapidly assimilate new ideas, domains, techniques, and environments; flexibility is a must.
- Experience with collaboration and facilitation techniques.
- Experience with building relationships and influencing global clients and internal stakeholders at the C-level.
- Experience leading cross-functional teams.
- Experience with contract negotiation and drafting.
- Excellent problem solver, hyper-logical and goal-oriented thinker, including analytical and consulting techniques.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office – Excel, PowerPoint, Word.
- Ability to work effectively in team environments.
Preferred Qualifications/ Skills
- Masters/MBA in either of the following disciplines: business, finance, supply chain, accounting, analytics, engineering, or data management.
- Project management experience and exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Well-connected in the market to generate new leads for the business.
- Lean Six Sigma Certified (Green or Black belt).
