Reporting into the Project Engineering Manager it will be the role of the Project Engineer to support reactive and planned maintenance across the site and CAPEX and OPEX projects.

Responsible for the mechanical side of the repair and maintenance of the company’s equipment on site providing first line support for breakdowns, carrying out fault finding and repairs.

Ensuring that plant operates effectively and carry out planned servicing, inspection and installation work when required.

Also, will be required to supervise subcontractors to ensure that they meet agreed contractual and safety requirements.

As part of the plant operations team the Project Engineer will work within the manufacturing operation to increase productivity, increase profitability, ensure effective asset utilisation and make safety and environmental improvements.

Will be required to support the organisation in identifying projects, financed either by capital expenditure (CAPEX) or operational expenditure (OPEX), and the writing of technical specifications as required.
