A Nottingham based food manufacturing company is seeking an experienced multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer working on perm NIGHTS for their modern production facility based in South Nottingham.
As a multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer, you will provide engineering support to the production area and be responsible for reactive and proactive maintenance of plant, equipment, and any auxiliary systems.
Role
- Multi-skilled, will consider electrical or mechanical biased engineers
- 3 on 3 off – Nights only (12 hour shifts) (6-6)
- Opportunity to work in a modern manufacturer
- Salary of c£55k
Key Responsibilities Of Maintenance Engineer
- Assist team to work towards maximum plant and equipment efficiency so downtime is minimized
- Ensure planned engineering tasks are delivered on time and in full
- Ensure good repair/manufacturing practices and procedures are followed
- Ensure completion of planned maintenance documents/CMMS
- Work closely with production staff to achieve daily targets
- Contribute to cost reduction initiatives to drive efficiency and process improvements
Experience And Skills Required
- Qualified maintenance engineer with C&G’s or NVQ Level 3 or ideally ONC/HNC level
- Multi-skilled, mechanical and electrical skills/experience
- Apprenticeship trained
- Proactive attitude to solving issues and supporting production
- Manufacturing/production experience required
