Junior Designer – Girls & Womenswear (5198) London, England
Salary: GBP30000 – GBP34000 per annum
We are looking for a commercially driven Junior Designer across girlswear & womenswear to join an established multinational fashion company based in London offering hybrid working . This is an exciting opportunity to work within a dynamic, trend-led environment, collaborating with globally recognised retailers.
This role will suit someone with previous design experience across girls and / or womenswear within a retailer or supplier environment. Experience in licensing would be advantageous for this role, but not essential.

Main responsibilities will include:
- Conduct seasonal trend and catwalk research to inspire fresh and commercially relevant designs.
- Present trends and concepts to clients, securing briefs and fostering strong relationships with Buyers and Designers.
- Create detailed technical packs, ensuring clarity for overseas production teams and factories.
- Collaborate with factories to ensure timely product development and oversee sample tracking.
- Organise materials for meetings, manage the showroom, and communicate effectively with global teams and suppliers.
- Manage administrative tasks, including tracking critical paths, handling samples, photographing, and cataloguing products, and coordinating lab dips and strike-offs.
Person specification:
- Previous design experience specialising in girls wear and / or womenswear with a strong commercial portfolio.
- Experience in licensing would be a plus but not essential.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator etc).
- Highly organised with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects.
- A team player who thrives in a dynamic, collaborative environment and adds value to the company culture.
