OCR Alpha is currently partnering with a prestigious global multi-strategy hedge fund who are looking to expand their Tax team due to continued growth. This firm manages more than $10bn and is considered one of, if not the best tier 1 hedge fund to join due to a down to earth and positive culture.
This role will work directly with their global Head of Tax on a broad role. It will involve the preparation and review of partnership and corporate tax returns, working with external accounting firms to prepare tax across jurisdictions, and collaborating with the most senior members of the firm on their tax queries and effectively managing their tax.
In addition to the BAU work, this role will be strategic in nature, helping to design and improve internal controls and policies as well as ensuring tax compliance across several jurisdictions.
They are looking for a Big 4 accountant who works in tax with between 2-8 years of experience due to team structure. ACA or CTA qualifications are helpful, but not a requirement for this position.
On top of joining an excellent culture, the role offers a large uplift on salary, hedge fund level annual bonus, private medical, generous pension contributions, and new offices based in Mayfair.
