Regulatory Reporting Manager:
- Work within a team on all aspects of regulatory reporting including various change projects
- Production and review of monthly and quarterly regulatory reports on an accurate and timely basis.
- Production of monthly internal MI for committees
- Assess, develop and maintain proper controls associated with regulatory reporting function including data reconciliations and cross checks, variance analysis and investigation.
- Liaise with internal stakeholders to ensure completeness, timeliness and accuracy of regulatory and other MI data feeds, financial information and other inputs. Streamline processes wherever possible.
- Continuous development and improvements to the regulatory reporting system to aide automation
- Assist with the implementation of new business/product changes & future regulation changes
- Drive the understanding of capital and liquidity reporting requirements across the business and provide regulatory support to other functions as required
- Ad-hoc support to wider finance and treasury team
The Successful Applicant
- 1 or 2 months notice, although 3 months is not a barrier
- Qualified accountant – ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent, with experience working within financial services within banking or building societies
- Understanding of both accounting (IFRS) and prudential environment is required
- Experience of regulatory reporting including COREP, FINREP, PRA and statistical returns
- Knowledge of liquidity, capital and credit risk is preferable
- Experience with sourcing of data and data manipulation would be an advantage
- Strong analytical and numerical skills
- Good excel and MI experience
- Adaptable and keen to drive change.
