English Teacher

We are currently seeking a dedicated and qualified English Teacher to join a well-regarded secondary school in Wigan for a short-term paternity cover from 2nd June to 15th June 2025. This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate English Teacher with QTS to make a positive impact in a supportive and thriving English department. You will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective lessons to KS3 and KS4 students, ensuring continuity of learning during this brief but important cover period.

Job Details:

• Full-time role as an English Teacher
• Covering from Monday 2nd June to Friday 15th June
• Teaching English to KS3 and KS4
• Working in a welcoming and well-resourced school environment
• No planning required - cover work will be provided
• QTS is essential - applications from ECTs will also be considered

We are looking for an enthusiastic English Teacher who:

• Holds UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Has experience teaching English in a UK secondary school
• Demonstrates excellent classroom management skills
• Is reliable, adaptable, and committed to providing high-quality teaching
