Technical Assistant – Ticket Office Operations Expert Join a respected venue committed to delivering exceptional fan experiences Become the go-to expert for the Ticket Office’s technical systems and processes Collaborate with a supportive team in a flexible and inclusive work environment Celtic Park, a prominent venue known for its dedication to providing outstanding experiences for fans and visitors, is seeking a skilled Technical Assistant to join their Ticket Office team. This permanent position offers the opportunity to play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of ticket sales and related processes. The impact you’ll make: As a Technical Assistant, you will provide essential technical support and advice to colleagues within the Ticket Office. Your expertise will be instrumental in configuring and updating the software that powers the department, as well as offering basic IT support to team members. Additionally, you will conduct database analysis using SQL or Microsoft Access to support decision-making and troubleshooting efforts. Become an expert in the use of the Ticket Office’s software, assisting with system setup and configuration Manage and create dashboards using SQL and Tableau to provide valuable insights Perform ad hoc data analysis to support decision-making and problem-solving Configure and update software to ensure optimal performance and functionality Manage technical aspects of the Ticket Office website Provide basic IT support to colleagues, addressing their technical needs and queries Assist with all aspects of Ticket Office operations, contributing to the department’s overall efficiency Your skills and experience: Experience with SQL Server and Excel query skills for data analysis Business acumen to understand and ensure data accuracy Proficiency in Tableau, Power BI, or similar reporting tools Experience providing basic IT and technical support Intermediate SQL and Excel query skills Beneficial experience with Direct Debit Software/BACS Knowledge of football ticketing software is advantageous Experience in an IT support role, particularly with Windows and Office 365 Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, evenings and match days.
