We are seeking an experienced Portfolio Delivery Manager to join our client on a contract basis.
You will work closely with Technology Service Tower Leads, Programme Managers, and the Delivery Management Office Community.
Your role will involve supporting Product Managers in achieving portfolio outcomes and collaborating with other delivery leads, finance teams, preferred vendors, and onsite technical support to deliver technology solutions for EDS Technology Projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the implementation of a complex portfolio of Technology Services projects.
- Influence or create complex budgets across an organisation, programme or product view.
- Act as the escalation point and resolve large or high-risk commercial management issues associated with the Portfolio.
- Develop and maintain business cases, plans, status reports, and CRAID logs for all projects.
- Manage dependencies of varying complexity and contribute to larger programmes and sub-portfolios.
- Remove blockers, manage risks, divisional budgets, and SME delivery teams.
- Apply Agile and Waterfall methodologies effectively.
- Coach teams to ensure the success of critical events, project governance, and delivery methodology.
- Measure and communicate project progress and benchmark against success criteria.
Experience:
- Extensive experience in planning, Agile and Lean practices, commercial management, communication, and stakeholder management.
- Proven track record of leading and motivating teams.
- Experience in building and nurturing small teams.
- Professional qualifications such as PMP or PRINCE2 are required; SAFe or other Agile framework certifications are a plus.
