Morgan Stanley is looking for an Associate to join the Vulnerability Management team.
This position will join the Vulnerability Management team with a focus on Attack Surface Management (ASM) and the remediation of external scan findings. The candidate needs to be comfortable escalating vulnerabilities, initiating requests for immediate remediation and providing remediation guidance as needed. The candidate also needs to look at issues being reported by multiple sources to ensure issues are only reported once. Performance of daily job function requires excellent communication, organizational and professional skills.
This is a Vulnerability Support position at Associate level which is part of the job family responsible for monitoring, detecting, and responding to security incidents to ensure the organization’s systems and data are protected from actual and potential threats or breaches.
What You’ll Do:
- Contribute to the function through managing vulnerability notification and remediation timelines.
- Interact regularly with team members and occasionally leadership on status of vulnerabilities.
- Follow up on outstanding issues.
These skills will help you succeed in this role:
- 5 years of technology experience with time in a technology risk function
- Strong understanding of vulnerabilities, CVSS scoring and following process and procedure
- Understanding of network TCP/IP, web applications, technology components, interaction between layers and services for applications and infrastructure
- Experience with an enterprise reporting platform (Power BI / Splunk preferred)
- Strong organizational, communication, and professional skills
- Ability to perform assessments, provide guidance and reporting to stakeholders.
- Experienced understanding of business line and discipline.
