Contracts Manager - Highways

Highways Contracts Manager, permanent role for a successful busy contractor based in the North West area.

This is an exciting new role for our client who is a National Highways approved contractor working across various highways areas on civils, highways upgrades, VRS, and Barrier schemes. This role will be reporting to the Operations Manager and is a crucial role within the business.

The Role:

• Manage existing contracts for National Highways and other clients
• Manage the teams on site
• Overall responsibility for projects, budgets, and health & safety
• Chair management and progress meetings
• Some travel required across the North due to the nature of contracts around the highways area network
• Work will be from home, from the office, from site, and from National Highways offices at various times

The Candidate

The ideal candidate we are looking for would have the following attributes:

• Extensive experience with National Highways contracts
• Extensive experience within area works, VRS contracts, and similar
• Strong background in Contracts Management
• Excellent knowledge of contracts, commercial awareness, and the ability to manage a large and moving workload
• Willingness to travel where required
