Location – Bath with either regular hybrid working or remote working / home based with occasional days in office on adhoc basis.

About the Role
We are seeking an Agile Business Analyst to play a key role in shaping the future of our cutting-edge financial services platform. You will work closely with software developers, business stakeholders, and third-party technology providers to define and refine requirements, optimize user experiences, and ensure the delivery of high-value solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Gather, analyze, and document business requirements to support product development.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define user stories, acceptance criteria, and refine backlog items.
- Facilitate agile ceremonies including backlog grooming, sprint planning, and example mapping sessions.
- Identify and define non-functional requirements such as security, usability, and performance.
- Work with development teams (.Net stack) to ensure technical feasibility and alignment with business objectives.
- Support UAT and implementation activities to ensure seamless product releases.
- Track and analyze key product metrics to assess performance and drive continuous improvements.
- Act as a bridge between business and technology teams, translating complex business needs into clear, actionable solutions.
What We’re Looking For
To excel in this role, you should have:
- Proven experience as an Agile Business Analyst, Product Owner, or Senior Business Analyst in a software development environment.
- Background in financial services, fintech, or wealth/financial advisory platforms.
- Strong knowledge of agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban) and experience working in agile teams.
- Experience working on complex software development projects with tight deadlines. Preferably with experience in Microsoft .Net environments.
- Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps, Jira, or similar tools for backlog and requirement management.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
- A proactive and collaborative approach, with strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Desirable Skills & Experience:
- Experience working with third-party software providers and integration projects.
- Knowledge of analytics tools such as Pendo, Heap, or similar.
- Understanding of ‘straight-through processing’ solutions.
