The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 £ per year.

We currently have a fantastic opportunity for a Procurement Manager / Senior Buyer to join a leading Construction Contractor in the North Yorkshire area.

Working within an established team and reporting to the Directors, you’ll be responsible for but not limited to:

  1. Building relationships with current and prospective suppliers
  2. Negotiating for best price
  3. Analysing market trends to better identify purchasing options
  4. Reading bills / schedule take offs from site drawings
  5. Updating of Order logs and comparison work books
  6. Control of stock levels

Ideally, you will have experience working within the Construction / Engineering Sector and:

  1. Have strong analytical / mathematical ability
  2. Excellent written / verbal communication
  3. Excellent presentation skills
  4. Solid working knowledge of computer packages (MS Office + MS Projects)
