The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 £ per year.
We currently have a fantastic opportunity for a Procurement Manager / Senior Buyer to join a leading Construction Contractor in the North Yorkshire area.
Working within an established team and reporting to the Directors, you’ll be responsible for but not limited to:
- Building relationships with current and prospective suppliers
- Negotiating for best price
- Analysing market trends to better identify purchasing options
- Reading bills / schedule take offs from site drawings
- Updating of Order logs and comparison work books
- Control of stock levels
Ideally, you will have experience working within the Construction / Engineering Sector and:
- Have strong analytical / mathematical ability
- Excellent written / verbal communication
- Excellent presentation skills
- Solid working knowledge of computer packages (MS Office + MS Projects)
