The Piece London and Kirica Fine are seeking a talented and energetic jewellery professional to contribute to the expansion of our rapidly growing jewellery business, being the first point of contact for customer enquiries, sourcing gemstones and jewellery, assisting in social media planning, liaising with our UK workshop, and maintaining operational records.

The exact specification will play to the strengths and growth desires of the successful candidate; we are looking for a passionate member of our team who can grow with us to take on significant responsibility.

This role is intended to be full time, but can be part time if better suited to the right candidate.

Role responsibilities

  • Acting as the first point of contact for custom jewellery enquiries from new customers
  • Managing enquiries from existing customers, including sending photos, invoicing and handling customer queries and issues
  • Liaising with gemstone suppliers to source gemstone and diamond options for stock and custom pieces
  • Managing production process with UK workshops
  • Sending new jobs to workshops
  • Managing quality control of completed jewellery sent back from workshops
  • Sourcing new gemstone and jewellery providers and production partners for new products and initiatives
  • Writing and preparing website listings
  • Assisting in the creation of the social media content plan and calendar
  • Maintaining gemstone and jewellery purchase records
  • Maintaining antique and vintage jewellery inventory and records

Key skills, qualities, and experience

Required

At least 3 years’ experience in the jewellery industry in a production, procurement, or operational role.

  • Excellent social and communication skills.
  • Strong diligence and attention to detail.
  • Competency in spreadsheet software.
  • Good writing and numeracy skills.
  • Able to commute to Hatton Garden for in-person working at least 1 day per week, with flexibility on other working days.

Experience in graphic design on any platform.

Photo editing experience.

Experience in providing excellent customer service.

Salary: £30-35k, depending on experience
