SAP Functional Specialist (PP & MM)
Are you an experienced SAP specialist looking for a challenging new role with a market-leading manufacturer? Our client is seeking a talented SAP Functional Specialist to join their Enterprise Application Team in a newly established position.
The Role
As an SAP Functional Specialist focusing on PP and MM modules, you\’ll work across both UK and Group SAP teams, collaborating closely with the business to:
- Act as the subject matter expert for SAP PP & MM
- Manage and resolve SAP incidents efficiently
- Analyze current processes and develop improved workflows following SAP best practices
- Implement customizations and coordinate external consultants
- Conduct functional, integration and user acceptance testing
- Create technical and end-user documentation
- Provide go-live support and ensure smooth transition to operations
Key Projects
You\’ll support current SAP systems while contributing to exciting new initiatives including a new production facility and the transition to a new ERP solution.
Required Experience
- 3+ years of experience in SAP PP and MM modules
- Experience with SAP ECC6 or S/4 HANA
- Strong knowledge of core SAP PP and MM principles
- System enhancement and configuration expertise
- Proven track record in analysis, design, implementation and documentation
- Ability to thrive in a cross-functional IT environment
- Self-motivated with excellent organizational skills
- SAP PP or MM Certification
- Cross-functional SAP knowledge
- Familiarity with MES systems (e.g., Fastec)
