What you will do
- This isn’t a run-of-the-mill comms role. You’ll be able to shape the areas you want to spend time in and own them fully.
- Creating story ideas & own execution from drafting to selling in.
- Maintaining Lightyear’s relationships with key media outlets and journalists.
- Writing friendly and clever copy for the app, website and social media.
- Creating and/or managing the creation of interesting content that will work across our various channels (blog, newsletters, YouTube, social media).
- Help to build our community of Lightyear advocates through different types of events, both online and offline.
- Working with partners, industry bodies and influencers.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in a Communications or PR role.
- London based.
- Exceptional written and spoken English is a must.
- Native or near-native in Hungarian - half of this role will be helping to relaunch, and market Lightyear in Hungary.
- Strong storytelling skills.
- An interest in all – but deep experience in at least one – of the following areas: public relations, content, social media and community.
- An understanding of the investment world is great, but it’s not required.
- A willingness to learn about it is a must.
