What you’ll be doing
- Design, implement, and maintain scalable and reliable infrastructure.
- Monitor system performance, identify issues, and implement solutions to improve reliability and performance.
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure new features and services are reliable and scalable.
- Automate repetitive tasks to improve efficiency and reduce manual intervention.
- Develop and maintain monitoring, alerting, and incident response systems.
- Conduct root cause analysis of incidents and implement preventive measures.
- Document processes, procedures, and best practices.
- Perform detection rule tuning and creation in line with use case standards.
- Perform patching/upgrades to ensure software version of SIEM components are up to date.
- Ensure data sources are healthy and troubleshoot if they stop logging.
The skills you’ll need to succeed
- Proven experience as a Site Reliability Engineer or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (SIEM technologies).
- Experience in security applications, particularly SIEM.
- Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash).
- Experience with infrastructure as code (e.g., Terraform, Ansible).
- Familiarity with containerization and orchestration (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
- Preferred experience in Elastic-based systems.
