I am currently working with a well-known company in the food business, who are looking to recruit a purchasing manager.
This is a well-known brand that has a larger presence in other markets but is looking to expand in the UK and across Europe. It\’s an exciting time to join a growing business within the food industry.
You will be purchasing a variety of food products, including fresh, frozen, and ambient items from the UK and globally.
Responsibilities include:
- Building and developing strong relationships with suppliers to support future business growth.
- Helping to input and improve processes and procedures across the purchasing function.
- Driving growth within the business.
An understanding of the food supply chain across Europe would also be beneficial.
Although a global brand, there is just a team of 30 based in the UK.
Initially, it will be home-based until the summer when they open their new offices in central London.
