We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and inspirational Teacher of English with a passion for literature to join our thriving English Department. We require a person with the skills and knowledge to further develop this thriving curriculum area whilst feeding into the overall development of the English Faculty. This is a fantastic opportunity for a well-qualified colleague to work with some of the highest calibre students in the country. This position would suit a dedicated teacher seeking a position of responsibility and who can see potential in making their mark in our outstanding grammar school or a more experienced colleague looking to inspire the next generation. A willingness to contribute to our extensive enrichment and extra-curricular provision is highly encouraged. You will be able to demonstrate the professional and personal qualities necessary to consistently inspire our highly motivated and very capable students across all three Key Stages, 3 to 5. All students study English to GCSE and we have large numbers across A level.

The successful candidate will:

  2. Have a great understanding of English and at least a 2:1 degree in English Literature
