Senior Associate-UX Researcher

The Enterprise Design & Research team is responsible for deepening customer engagement through our digital experiences across app, web, and push channels. The team is a group of talented, passionate, multi-disciplinary members based in New York, Phoenix, and London. How will you make an impact in this role?

As a Senior Associate UX Researcher, you\’ll lead research projects or specific research activities for the team at large, and facilitate research efforts with our vendor partners across product journeys and domains. You will have the opportunity to work hands-on with a variety of data collection and sense-making methods, and to present findings to a variety of audiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Facilitate research activities, handling specific activities on larger projects, coordinating studies with our vendor partners, and handling studies from start to finish with guidance as needed from a more senior member of the team.
• Work with designers and product managers to establish research objectives and align on the approach.
• Execute evaluative studies using a variety of methods and triangulate data from across multiple sources.
• Contribute to the creation of research artifacts that bring user needs and insights to life.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align research objectives with broader business goals and decisions.
• Initiate the creation of new templates and toolkits that aid researchers in their work.
• Build expertise in the end-to-end research process and diligently maintain compliance with data privacy and tooling standards.

Qualifications

• You have at least 2 years of hands-on experience in research, proficiency in using research tools like dscout and User Testing, and you can demonstrate your understanding of fundamental UX research theories, principles and concepts.
• You are comfortable moderating sessions with participants, and you enjoy finding ways to make unmoderated tests truly effective.
• You are a proactive, energetic communicator who takes pride in producing high quality written artifacts and communications (e.g., research reports, Slack messages, emails). You have a clear and engaging verbal presentation style that you are eager to put to use.
• You approach your work, your colleagues, and your life with curiosity, humility, respect, and an openness to learning.
